I wanted to take a moment to share a bit of the OTD Florida story – one that’s close to my heart and spans decades of dedication, hard work, and a deep love for what we do.
Growing up in the vibrant and bustling surroundings of New York and New Jersey, I always knew there was something special about the way things moved. The streets, the people, the energy – it all came together in a symphony of organized chaos, and I was captivated.
You see, logistics wasn’t just a word to me; it was a way of life. My father, who had embarked on a journey from Naples, Italy, through Ellis Island, instilled in me the importance of meticulous planning, attention to detail, and most importantly, the value of genuine connections.
In 1981, with these lessons echoing in my mind, I set out to create something that would not only move goods efficiently but also build bridges between people and their aspirations. OTD Florida was born out of a passion for seamless movement and a commitment to serving our customers with heart and soul.
From those early days, when we were a small seed of an idea, to now, as we stand as a thriving logistics company, our journey has been about understanding, adapting, and embracing change. Through it all, the spirit of family – that unbreakable bond that my dad brought from across the seas – has remained at the core of everything we do.
